perfume write-ups: sunsphere scents

Sunsphere Scents is a very new outfit that makes perfumes based on locations local to Knoxville, Tennessee. I spent a lot of my childhood just outside Chattanooga, Tennessee, which is, like Knoxville, in East Tennessee, and reading the descriptions made me so nostalgic that I felt I had to try some of them.
And indeed, these smells made me really miss Tennessee. There seem to be a few of these sorts of “local smells” places—Perfumes of the Desert is one, and there are some New Orleans perfumeries. There are two Michigan perfume houses that I know of—Sfumato and Kerosene—but I don’t get the sense they specialize in these sort of hyperlocal smells.
